  • Our curriculum is arts-based, incorporating activities that spark creativity, including visual arts, drama, music, and outdoor learning. We also offer weekly classes Mon Italian & Yogalanguage classes Tueday Cooking, Wed Forest School, Thursday Drama & Music, Fridays Ceramics, we do 2 ceramic projects / term. OUr sessions aim help the children grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

  • 2 years to 4 years.

    2 & 3 year olds must already be 2 or 3 years old before the term starts to get funding if eligible.

    Free entitlement hours– hours per week (do not have a charge).

    Funded Hours available

    15 hours or 30 hours please check ChildcareChoices@gov..uk to view eligibllty criteria. all funded children have to be 2 or 3 yrs before a term starts to get funding for that term.

    Income Support check the Flexible funding Support @ HMRC website for help with fees.

    Additional hours purchased beyond 15/30 hours Are £10/hour for 2-4r olds

    AM sessions 9-12. ie 3 hours

    Pm sessions 12-3. ie 3 hours.

    Early drop off 8.30-9 costs £5.00

    Invoices are by termly.

  • Children are divided into groups based on age and development, with tailored activities to suit each group. This allows us to provide appropriate learning experiences for both beginners and those with more experience.

  • We are open 8.30am - 3pm, Monday to Friday and offer flexible sessions to suit your family's needs. Funded sessions 15 or 30 hours are taken btw 9-3, for 15 hours either 5 AM sessions or 2 ½ days, extra hours can be purchased.

    Please contact us directly for more details on timings. We operate during term time only, with breaks aligned to local school holidays.

  • As a not-for-profit pre-school, our fees are designed to be affordable and transparent. Funded children are entitled to 15 hours or 30 hours each per week. Please refer to Government website for more information on your eligibility. Please get in touch with us for up-to-date fee information and to discuss any available funding or subsidies.

    All Unfunded Hours cost £10/hour for 2-4yr olds ie Am Sessions 9-12 = £30. PM Sessions 12-3pm = £30 Early drop off 8.20-9= £5.

    Parking
    On street parking is limited but available, please use pedestrian access via Burton Road for entry.

    How to get here and public transport options
    The Nest is conveniently located between multiple transport routes, nestled in a quiet area between Brixton and Camberwell. There are multiple public transport route options within 5-20 mins walk. Brixton Road buses, Brixton Underground station, P5 bus stop at Loughborough Rd, Loughborough Junction Railway station, and Denmark Hill Overground station.
